Today's reading — Psalm 80:1-7▾
(1) Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest
between the cherubims, shine forth.
(2) Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come
and save us.
(3) Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
(4) O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?
(5) Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.
(6) Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.
(7) Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

- Father, please let the positive prophecies that have been spoken over my nation come to pass. Please, establish Your word concerning this nation, in Jesus’ name.
- Father, please let Your light shine over my nation. Let every form of confusion and stagnation come to an end, and let Your light bring stability and progress, in Jesus’ name.
- Father, please let there be peace in my nation. Remove tribalism, strife, racism, and all forms of darkness that turn people against one another, in Jesus’ name.
- Father, please strengthen and guide our youths. Let our youths rise to take their rightful place in every sector of the economy. Let them not get carried away with youthful lusts, in Jesus’ name.
- Father, please destroy every plan of the devil to plunge my nation into sorrow. Let Your joy fill this land, and make us fruitful in all areas, in Jesus’ name.
